Due to last year's delightful experience while volunteering at our local Food Lifeline warehouse (see here for details), our club voted unanimously to schedule this year's service project there again!

We look ready for pretty much anything, don't we? But I don't think anyone expected this... Yup...onions. 4,800 pounds of them, to be exact (And not all of them were as pretty as the onions in this picture ;-) Still, our perserverance paid off. Check this out...  Doesn't that make it all worth it? Still, I don't think anyone felt like onion rings afterwards ;-) Thanks for volunteering! |
